- ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ശ്രീകോവിൽ പുനർനിർമ്മാണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ നടക്കുന്നതിനാൽ രാവിലത്തെ പൂജാ, ദർശന സമയങ്ങളിൽ മാറ്റം വരുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. വ്യാഴം ഞായർ ഒഴികെയുള്ള ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ രാവിലെ 9 മണിക്ക് നട അടയ്ക്കുന്നതായിരിക്കും. വ്യാഴാഴ്ച്ച നെയ് വിളക്ക് ദീപാർച്ചന 9 മണിക്ക് ആരംഭിച്ച് 10 മണിക്ക് സമർപ്പിച്ചശേഷം 10. 30ന് നട അടയ്ക്കുന്നതായിരിക്കും. അന്നദാനം ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള എല്ലാ പതിവുകളും മുടങ്ങാതെ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്. ഞായർ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ പതിവുപോലെ ദർശനസൗകര്യം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്. വൈകുന്നേരത്തെ ദർശന സമയങ്ങളിൽ മാറ്റം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതല്ല.
- Due to the ongoing renovation work of the temple's sanctum, the morning puja and darshan timings have been changed. The temple will close at 9 am on days except Thursdays and Sundays. On Thursdays, the 'Ney vilakku deeparchana' will begin at 9 am and will be offered at 10 am and the temple will close at 10.30 am. All the rituals including annadanam will continue without interruption. Darshan facilities will be available as usual on Sundays. There will be no change in the evening darshan timings.
Thiruvambadi Sree Krishnaswamy Temple is a temple located in Mukkoottuthara in Erumeli Panchayat of Kottayam district. The main deity of the temple is Lord Krishna. Ayyappan, Devi and Nagar are the sub-deities. Located a few meters away from the town, this temple is an important place of worship in Mukkoottuthara. The Thiruvutsavam begins on the day of Anizham in the month of Makara and ends with the Aarat on the day of Thiruvonam
കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിലെ എരുമേലി പഞ്ചായത്തിൽ മുക്കൂട്ടുതറയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് തിരുവമ്പാടി ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രം. ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനാണ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ. അയ്യപ്പൻ, ദേവി, നാഗർ എന്നിവയാണ് ഉപദേവതകൾ. ടൗണിൽ നിന്ന് ഏതാനും മീറ്റർ അകലെ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം മുക്കൂട്ടുതറയിലെ ഒരു പ്രധാന ആരാധനാലയമാണ്. മകര മാസത്തിലെ അനിഴം നാളിൽ ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന തിരുവുത്സവം തിരുവോണ നാളിലെ ആറാട്ടോടെ അവസാനിക്കും.

Renovation of the shrine
Our ancestors built our shrine for us under limited circumstances. As we knew that the Lord’s wish was to rebuild the shrine as per the devaprasna we conducted, everyone must be aware of the fact that we decided to beautifully build the shrine with the floor and walls made of Krishna stone and the roof made of wood, with chempola plastered and dedicate to our Thiruvambadi Kannan.
On June 26, 2024, the temple Tantri performed the Vriksha Puja, and woodcarver V T Santhosh Achari started the construction work by carving the wood. The construction of the Krishna stone for the floor and walls is underway under the leadership of Markandan Shilpi, a native of Perambalur. On February 2, 2025, the temple Tantri Brahmasree Kuruppakkatt Mana Narayanan Namboothiri performed the Balalaya Pratishtha under the chief function of and the second phase of construction work of the shrine is underway. With the generous support of the devotees, the temple is being dedicated to the Lord during the Thiruvutsava festival in 2026. To this end, everyone’s sincere cooperation is cordially invited.
